Compare Garment Measurements to Body Measurements
Always add ease allowance: for a top, the garment bust should be at least 2" (5 cm) larger than your actual bust. For a structured jacket, add at least 3–4" of ease. If the measurements are identical to your body, the garment will feel very tight.
