Accurate sizing descriptions are the single biggest factor in reducing returns for vintage clothing resellers. Here is how to measure and list every garment correctly.

Always List Flat Measurements
Never list only a size label. Always include: (a) chest/bust; (b) waist; (c) hips (for dresses/trousers); (d) length; (e) shoulder width (for jackets). Buyers who receive accurate measurements return items far less frequently.
Convert Sizes for Your Market
If selling internationally, include both the original label size and its equivalent in the buyer's system. 'Soviet size 50 (EU 50 / US M/40 / UK 40)' removes ambiguity and builds buyer confidence.
